I'm really neither. I used Skype, but the fees and lack of portability were bothersome to me. With magic jack, I can go visit my mom in Philly, plug it into my laptop, and in two seconds RECEIVE business and customer support calls there. It truly makes my business portable without having so spend a fortune. I think the that Skype still has an advantage when it comes to international calling, but most of my business is in North America and when it grows further -- hopefully the inventor of magic jack will have improved international calling features. Bottom line - you could go either way, but with Skype I feel tied down to my desktop and would have to invest a lot more money in making Skype portable. That's why so far I'm really feelin' Magic Jack :-)

Let me first say that people are either die hard Skype fans or Magic Jack fans.
