That’s one of the reasons I decided to host wordpress software on my own server. I love wordpress software, but they just want non-business people on their wordpress.org community (I think they also believe that it’s wrong to make money …).

One thing to think about is that if you host your own blog, then you don’t have to worry about the policy of the wordpress.org or blogger or whatever, because you have control. And this is especially important if you build a big following and a high PR — you don’t want to loose that!
