There is a great advantage to harnessing the traffic power of Web 2.0 sites. The problem – is that there is a ton of them! More are popping up every minute – claiming to be the newest and hottest site out there that can drive floods of traffic to your website(s).
The truth is – is that we really had no way of knowing who was really driving traffic to our sites and who wasn’t. Most of us were listening to “word-of-mouth” marketing a.k.a. buzz to try and figure out who to use in our marketing plans.
Great “buzz” for all of those sites – but could be a waste of time for us. That’s why it’s so great that Seth Godin has collected and analyzed over 1000 web 2.0 sites and listed the 952 sites which rank high in traffic and popularity. Otherwise – worth the effort:)
