Although I slowed down in 2007, I have committed to ramping up my link building activities for 2008. I think that everyone should dedicate at least an hour to link building per week – because I saw tremendous growth in my business when I added new backlinks to my site.
Things have changed over the years. Of course now reciprocal links are a big no-no, and one-way backlinks are optimal. But that takes a little more work. Writing great content for other sites is the best way, and is what I teach my clients. But Brad Fallon has this cool new podcast report site called Freeline where he reports on a lot of free internet marketing and web 2.0 resources. One which he is featuring now is a 101 Link building Tips resource. Take a look – it’s quick bits of info. Not one of those godforsaken long 45 minute camtasia presentations:)!
