For example, if you write and submit your article to a directory such as ezine articles, you should see results as soon as they approve your article. Especially if you write in a popular niche.

Of course the REAL point of article marketing are the long-term benefits of the never-ending flow of evergreen traffic that is funneled to your site because of your articles, but immediate gratification is always nice too:)
