Article Promotion: Should I Create More Than One Twitter Account?

Q: Should I create more than one twitter account since I have two totally different niches?

A: At first I would have said no, because then you have to spend so much work gathering followers and keeping track of two different accounts — but now that Twitter has really taken off and has proven to be a great tool for solopreneurs — I think that it is best to create separate identities if you have businesses in two or more totally different niches. Keep your brands clean and strong.

For example, my relationship coaching business (GirlShrink.com) is totally different than my small business site (this one:) — so I decided to separate the two, especially because I didn’t want to lose any followers based on them receiving totally unrelated content to what they were interested in in the first place!

For relationship advice, I use: http://twitter.com/AskGirlshrink

For article & information marketing, I use: http://twitter.com/girlshrink
