Article Spinning Software Finally Evolves!

Article Spinning Software Finally Evolves!

As someone that teaches entrepreneurs how to write and publish their own compelling content, I have to make it mybest spinner business to try every service and software product on the market, and during my quest I have never found a great article spinning software.

At the end of the day, they ALL produced articles that sounded unnatural, and that ruined my marketing message and my professional image. OR the rewriting process literally took me over an hour to complete and in the same time I could have rewritten the article myself. I never want unintelligible junk on the web with my name attached and I don’t want my virtual assistant or myself to spend hours out of our day trying to spin and submit one stinking article. Not smart.

So imagine my surprise when a nice guy named Aaron pleasantly contacted me from Spin Rewriter to let me know about his new article spinning software. Okay, so in the back of my mind, I totally believed that this software would just be another one of those programs or services that I would never use — but I was wrong.

There is a detailed list of benefits that makes this software phenomenal which I will list in a minute, but the bottom line if you are a bottom line type of person is that this software does what ALL the others can’t.

1. It will take your article and create many unique versions that are grammatically correct and still sound like you wrote them.

2. You will have dozens or even hundreds of articles for submission to directories, blog networks, 3rd party sites, etc. that you can comfortably submit knowing that they won’t get kicked back for duplicate content issues or grammatical & sentence structure problems.

3. You can do all of this literally with ONE click. I spun one of my articles into hundreds of highly unique (89%) articles in less than five minutes. Seriously

Why You Should Use Spin Rewriter Article Spinner(according to them):

article spinning software

Great benefits right? But again if I’m going to bottom line it here, being able to create hundreds of unique pages across the web will:

1. Create more backlinks to your site

2. Makes your site more important to search engine eyes

3. Then Google will rank your site higher in the search engine results

4. Which means you get more traffic

5. Which means you’ll build a bigger list and generate more income

Is that motivation enough? It was for me:) FINALLY — I’m all in!

#1 Google Penalty To Avoid

April 21, 2011 By Lisa Angelettie 1 Comment

#1 Google Penalty To Avoid

There are a few experts out there who would like to scare you to death about depending on Google for search engine traffic to your site. While I don’t recommend depending on only one marketing strategy, I do highly recommend implementing good search engine optimization practices to maximize all the real, organic traffic you can attract to your site. Why?

1. It’s free and that’s always great.

2. It’s typically a highly qualified prospect who finds you via a Google search.

3. It’s simple to implement.

So while I think I have covered a lot of fabulous things about grabbing Google traffic as well as the recent Google algorithm updates that have changed the game for some site owners, I thought it was important to give you another side of the coin. Some of the pitfalls (Google penalties) that you can fall into when writing content for the search engines and how to avoid them.

While I could talk about this topic for days, I selected one major Google penalty that you want to avoid for today’s article, because I see it happening so much. Especially by new marketers or frustrated solopreneurs.

Aggressive Link Building

It is no secret that in today’s society we all are looking for a way to do things faster, better, easier, quicker, etc. This is no different with entrepreneurs on the web. Even with all the lightening fast progress that we’ve seen on the web, people still want faster. Even with the great amounts of money you can make online with minimal effort — people still want to make more money by doing less.

In that spirit, a lot of entrepreneurs are trying to artificially build up the ranking and importance of their sites by acquiring links a.k.a. back links to their sites with lightening speed. Unfortunately, this is probably the #1 way for a site owner to suffer a Google penalty and see your site fall in the oh-so-awful Google sandbox. Why? Well, understand the logic…

Google started assessing a site’s importance based on the number of backlinks it had and the quality of those backlinks years ago. Originally the intent made sense, because if you owned a site which was accruing a regular amount of inbound links from reputable sites – it is thought that your site hosted relevant content to the niche you are ranking in. Thus making you relevant and important as well.

Of course Google didn’t count on the fact that marketers were going to figure out a way to put that process on steroids and get hundreds of links to a brand new website in one day, for multiple days! When they saw that happening, they realized that that wasn’t natural inbound linking. And of course Google was not going to reward sites that did this by giving them great ranking – so they began penalizing sites that did this type of unnatural link building and they still do this to this day.

So please be aware of this major link building blunder as you seek inbound links to your site. Do not build links to your site aggressively. If you did nothing and just allow other sites to find your content and link to you naturally there is absolutely no way you will ever have to worry about this penalty. BUT the sit back and wait method is not something I necessarily recommend, especially for folks looking to see immediate results. So in that case, do not actively and aggressively build links to your site by:

1. Joining a large link farm. The quantity and quality of links from this type of source is dubious and Google will penalize you for it.

2. Buying large amounts of links. Google does not want you to buy any links, but if you do, know that you should buy relevant ones and a few at a time.

3. Publishing hundreds of articles at one time. Many people do this because they’ve bought some sort of submission software as a shortcut, but it’s important that you know that you should not publish hundreds of articles at one time. You should trickle the publishing dates so that you do not have too many new links pointing to your site at one time.

In fact, I recommend that you build new links to your site at a rate of 10-15% or less than your existing link totals per month. For example, if you have a site with 100 current links, that means you can safely build in another 10-20 links without drawing any undue notice. Of course, the larger your site, the more links you can safely build on a monthly basis.

Can You Use Ezine Articles On Your Blog?

March 31, 2011 By Lisa Angelettie 20 Comments

FAQ: Can You Use Ezine Articles On Your Blog?

Q: Can I use articles from the article directory EzineArticles.com on my blogs?

A: This question probably arises from a place of permission and/or duplicate content, which I think I can easily clear up.

PERMISSION
EzineArticles is a site whose purpose is to provide publishers with content. Years ago the main outlet for these articles was online ezines and newsletters. Now that has evolved into publishers seeking content for newsletters AND for their blogs. EzineArticles is aware of this and approves of this use. There are a few stipulations though, with frequency of publishing being a main one:

“Agree to limit the number of articles reprinted to no greater than taking 25 articles from our site per calendar year per unique domain that you own. In addition, for domain owners of many domains, you may not reprint more than 250 articles per year (10 sites x 25 articles reprinted per domain).”
Source: EzineArticles Terms of Service For Publishers

This part of the terms of agreement is there for a reason and the recent Google updates have shown evidence of that. It’s important to understand that you will only rank well in the search engines if you frequently feature high quality, original content. Using EzineArticles on your blog should be for fillers (because you were sick that day and didn’t want to write, because you are going out of town and needed a post to go up, because you wanted to add a post to your blog on one of the slow days of the week, etc.).

You do not want every article or even the majority of articles you publish to all be “reprinted” articles from any article directory source. That could and probably will raise some duplicate content filtering issues for you and plus it’s important to realize that the goal of blogging is to create a relationship with a group of people that may eventually want to pay you for your expertise. Using other people’s articles won’t achieve this level of authority for you.

Now if you’re an affiliate article marketer, it may be tempting to take more than your 25 articles worth for all your mini-blogs, but you will get penalized as a “Google Farmer” — so don’t do it. If you refuse tow rite original content, then try hiring inexpensive ghost writers or tweaking PLR content. You could also feature video content that you get from the various video sites to add content to your site.

DUPLICATE CONTENT
On another note, if you are wondering if you can publish the same articles to your blog that you have submitted to EzineArticles, the answer is yes for most of you and no to some. On one hand, EzineArticles has a WordPress plugin that enables WordPress bloggers to submit their blog articles directly to EzineArticles. So they don’t mind blog article submissions, and in fact are encouraging it.

So if you are an emerging entrepreneur then you shouldn’t have any issues with duplicate content (submitting identical articles to your blog and EzineArticles). Even with the hit that article directories like EzineArticles took after Google’s recent updates, EzineArticle’s results will no doubt be higher in the rankings then yours based on their traffic stats, pagerank, domain age, and other seo factors.

If you are an intermediate or advanced marketer and have made significant traction in the search engines, then I wouldn’t submit identical blog and EzineArticles. Re-write them. Spin them. Change them. And then submit. That’s what I do.

Submit Your Article

Submit Your Article

This isn’t quite a review. It’s more of a overdue recommendation I think, because one of the most frequently asked questions I am asked by clients as well as visitors to my sites is “Is there an article marketing submission software you recommend?” Let’s face it, article marketing is a numbers game AND the more short cuts we can use to expose our content to the largest number of people is a high priority on the article marketer’s list. I have kept quiet for many years, and would randomly give my recommendations – but now I’m speaking up. The only article marketing submission service that I recommend to my clients is: Submit Your Article.

In the beginning of my online career, I would recommend services and software based on affiliate revenue. Like many newbie marketers, I wanted to earn money through affiliate marketing, so I would promote the latest, greatest article marketing software programs or services. Well as you can imagine – that was big mistake!

Practically every one of those services I recommended was overpriced and the software programs were horrible. They were janky, spammy, and did not do a very good job. I learned that because I also invested in these same programs to publish and promote content for my first site (GirlShrink), and was terribly disappointed at the quality and the results.

Over the years I have tried many and I do mean many different article submission softwares and services and have only found true results, accountability, affordability, and reliability with one service and that is Submit Your Article. And yes that is an affiliate link, but it is the only link you will probably ever see from me for a service of this type. I use Submit Your Article myself and I have no direct or personal relationship with the owner.

So Why Submit Your Article?

There are a few reasons why I think this is the only article submission software to go with after testing many different options…

1. Submit Your Article actually has a network of real and well ranked websites, ezines, and article directories that they will submit your articles to. They don’t use a huge network of 0 ranked homemade blogs, created just yesterday, for the sole purpose of publishing your articles to. That is what a lot of article submission services do by the way! So buyer beware.  Your submissions are a waste of time.

2. They use something called ArticleLeverage ® to help you create unique versions of each article you submit. This is optional of course and yes there are other services out there that offer something similar, but I find this is the easiest to use and does a good job of creating unique versions of your articles.

3. The price is right. This is an affordable service for the average marketer.

New Submit Your Article Gold Level

Submit Your Article is about to unveil their new Gold Level membership which will include some new and exciting features and functionality for creating and publishing unique content to the web and other publishers. As well as powerful link building! I don’t know the details yet (you know how marketers love to build up anticipation:) but I’m sure that it’s going to be features that are going to really enable you to create many unique versions of your articles and publish them to high quality publishers in a very efficient way. I can’t wait:)

The great news is that you can lock in your rate as a Gold Level member, but paying at today’s rate. So if you join today, you can start submitting your articles to their powerful league of publishers AND you can lock in your Gold member status just by joining. So if using an article submission service is something that you have been thinking about, and you were finally waiting for me to give a recommendation, this is it. Go learn more about it – Submit Your Article.

Article Distribution: Go Where Ezine Publishers Grab Articles

September 29, 2010 By Lisa Angelettie 6 Comments

article distributionWhat’s the key to masterful article distribution?

It’s actually pretty simple. If you want your articles distributed all over the web to achieve maximum visibility for your brand, you don’t need to publish your articles to a 1000 article directories. Don’t be fooled by silly claims made by article distribution software creators. They just want you to buy their software (which typically is kind of janky anyway:)

Honestly, what the only thing that you should be concerned about is publishing your articles where REAL ezine publishers go to find good content for their newsletters. That list is a LOT shorter than that random article directory list of a zillion directories that you probably have or at least heard of.

So how do you know and how can you be sure that an article directory is actually masterful at article distribution? There are a few guidelines you can follow…

Article Distribution Guideline #1

It’s pretty safe to go with my choice of best article directories. These powerhouse directories have both the traffic statistics and active communities to support credible ezine publishers. I know off hand about 5 associates who use EzineArticles and IdeaMarketers as sources of content for their ezines.

Article Distribution Guideline #2

Are you subscribed to your competitor’s newsletters? Do you know of other people in your niche who use third party content or guest articles in their newsletter? Pay attention. I’m sure you have one in your inbox right now. Take a look at the resource box for that article and see if they include the article’s “source” link – in other words where the article originated. Publish to that directory. Your competitors do and you know for sure that publishers take content from that site.

Article Distribution Guideline #3

Write content that publishers will want to republish and distribute to their lists. That’s it. It’s not just enough to be at all the happening directories. People have to find your content engaging, informative, or entertaining to pick it among the thousands of articles on a directory. If you are starting to build credibility in your marketplace, then folks will be more likely to use your content. They want to be associated to you – so they may feature your article as a guest author in their ezine. BUT most of us haven’t built that type of following, so it’s important to write special content as often as you can. Be interesting. Be memorable. Be a teacher. Be a thoughtful and insightful reader. Be YOU!

Do these three things and you will find that effective article distribution has alluded you no more – Happy publishing!
